In partnership with the Keith Haring Foundation, Polaroid released an exclusive collaboration resulting in a Polaroid Now camera and i-Type instant film adorned with Haring’s infamous signature motifs.

According to a release, the project is inspired by “a shared spirit of democratic creativity”, and pays homage to Haring’s analog world “full of playful hand-drawn creations” while also celebrating his trail-blazing spirit, giving emphasis that art is made to break rules.

“Ever since the heyday of New York in the ‘80s, Keith Haring and Polaroid have had a mutual admiration for each other’s work,” stated Marta Martinez, Polaroid Chief Marketing Officer. “Partnering with the Keith Haring Foundation feels so natural it’s almost like a homecoming for us. We are so proud to keep Keith’s legacy alive, which is why we approached this collection of Polaroid products as another love letter to his amazing work.”

Embellished in red with bold black and white motifs, the Polaroid x Keith Haring camera is a modern upgrade of the point-and-shoot used by the late artist in the 70’s, with a more precise flash and two-lens autofocus to enhance image sharpness. Accompanying the camera is an instant analog i-Type film which also features Haring’s art and signature on the brand’s classic square frame.

The Polaroid x Keith Haring instant analog camera and i-Type instant films are up for purchase now at Polaroid.com/KeithHaring.
